Susan II returned last week from yet another wonderful stay at the Oceanis. Despite the extreme difficulties that Alexander and his lovely family were courageously dealing with this year they gave me the warmest welcome as always and I felt that I had come home again. It was my fifth visit and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Poros. The reviews say it all really and I would highly recommend if you are looking for the most attentive hosts and spectacular views in a peaceful setting. Home from home

Amazing hotel.


What can I say about this hotel. Easily the best personalised service I have received in Greece. The family who run this hotel go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable. The only down point, and it's greatest plus, is its location. It is high above the Marina and town of Poros. This makes walking back to the hotel a bit of a challenge. This isn't really a problem because the family offer a free pick up service from the marina and town! The views from the hotel from our balcony were magnificent. The typical Greek breakfast was very good with lots of variety including omelettes on request. The hotel provided transfers from the airport very cheaply and their car hire was cheaper than all the other local providers. Nice pool and free sunbeds. The hotel rooms were of a good standard and very, very clean. I would happily recommend this hotel to family and friends. Maria, Peter and Alex were excellent hosts and, on return to Poros, I would not think of booking anywhere else.

Yvert dSituated in Poros, Hotel Oceanis is beautiful little hotel with a lovely view of the sea. My principal reason for visiting Kefalonia was to go somewhere peaceful with nice views where I could concentrate on some writing work. This ticked all the boxes and did more. The locality is great; it’s quiet but there are many tavernas around where you can get great authentic Greek food at great prices. However, what most impressed me were the staff at the hotel – friendly, polite and very helpful. I have to say a very, very special thank you to Alexander who was an absolute star! I had a few problems with my computer and Alexander was there to the rescue. I don’t know what I would have done without him. Even before I arrived, he was of great help answering my questions and organising a taxi for me. You could not get better service than that at Hotel Oceanis. You will also be astounded by the amazingly low room rates. I would have happily paid twice what I did. I highly recommend Oceanis

The standard rooms are spacious enough with a renovated bathroom which can provide an amazing accommodation.

The standard double room can accommodate up to 2 people and can offer  relaxing and pleasant vacations.

Superior double room

The superior double rooms are located in the front building of the hotel offering big balconies with the best seaview in the Ionian sea.

The rooms are very spacious, new and furnished with a modern style. Each room provide a very nice bathroom which is equipped with a bath.

Triple Room

The triple rooms are located in both structures of the hotel, offering amazing sea view in the Ionian sea.

The triple rooms can accommodate up to 3 people where the third person can sleep either in a single bed or in a sofa bed.

Each triple room is very spacious with a recently renovated bathroom which can offer an amazing accommodation.

Superior Triple Room

The superior triple rooms are located in both structures of the hotel, offering amazing sea view in the Ionian sea.

One of the apartments provide only one bedroom, whereas the other 2 are two-bedrooms apartments.

The quadruple apartments are very spacious and recently renovated. This type of accommodation is ideal for families up to 4 people.
